2 Months...

Wow, MJ has been in our lives for 2 months already!  Here I am just about done providing monthly updates for PJ, but MJ updates are just starting, Wow Wow Wow.
I have to start off saying that MJ is a delight!  We are really enjoying getting to know his personality and to see all the differences from his bigger brother.
This last month MJ has started to be more awake each day but still sleeps a lot.  Its been just in this past week that MJ has started to be awake for more than an hour at a time.  He likes to use his awake time to smile and look around.   Very recently MJ has started cooing, and it seems that watching PJ is a good time as well.  Whenever MJ gets fussy we sit him up to see PJ and all seems to be right in MJ's world.  PJ really likes that he can make MJ happy so its a win win.
The night time routine is going well too.  Just in the past few days MJ has slept somewhere between 7 and 9 hours in a row at night!  He has his last bottle between 7pm and 9pm, then we don't hear from him until sometime between 3am and 5am.  We think this has a lot to do with the fact that we let MJ sleep on his tummy a lot sooner than we let PJ.  He is so content on his tummy and the bonus is that MJ has found his thumb.  So no need to get up and replace the binky when it falls out.  That also really helps MJ last all night long.  Its only been a few days so nothing is concrete but we will enjoy the sleep while we can get it!
