Today we went for a hike to
Bridle Veil Falls with some of the folks in our church growth group and my parents. It was the hottest day of the year in Seattle, the temperature was 93F, a new record was set. It had been 3 years since we had been in the 90s, so although warm its hard to complain since that is just not that normal a temperature around here. In fact prior to this weekend it had only been above 80F for 50 minutes all year!
Since it was hot out, we decided a shady trail and a waterfall at the end was the perfect activity. The trail was at least 10 degrees cooler and the waterfall had a nice cool mist to eat our lunch near. We all drank plenty of water and all had a great time.

| 2.5 miles was a lot for Olie boy, a comfy spot was no longer required as long as he didn't have to move! |
