Some weeknights PJ just needs more Momma and Daddy time before he can go to sleep. At first we thought PJ was just having some terrible tantrum nights where he just couldn't control himself with known boundaries and house rules. Lots of extra whining and protests for things that he may of actually really wanted. I am sorry to say it took us a few times of experiencing the 'No Momma, No Daddy' at every turn before realizing he really just needed a hug and dedicated family time, a break from the routine. PJ's favorite break from the routine, besides getting ice cream, is going for a walk in the neighborhood. So tonight we took a break and headed out for a evening stroll, when we got back PJ went down to sleep with only mumbles of protest instead of the screaming and thrashing that we were seeing before we had this "Aha" moment. :)
