Safety First...

PJ has been loving his bike.  He is very aware that he must wear his helmet when on his bike.  Not only does he know the house rules, he likes to enforce the rule on others and point out when another bike riders are wearing a helmet. 
Tonight the excitement of wearing the helmet and riding the bike was at an all time high.  When dinner time started, transitioning from bike excitement to eating excitement happend so quickly that the helmet stayed on.  I love when PJ is so happy in the evening especially with outdoor activities and wanting to eat the meal I provide.  Makes me feel like I am doing something right as a momma.  And of course we got a good laugh at seeing him wear his helmet like it was totally normal for the dinner table.
