Today we drove down to Olympia to spend the afternoon with close friends, Uncle C, Aunt S, and little O. Uncle C and R have been friends since preschool, so the fact that they live an hour away from each other and our boys are the same age is quite perfect. To add icing to the sweet cake of friendship, Uncle C and R got to cheer on their team, the Broncos in a playoff game with their boys nearby. The Broncos haven't been in a playoff game in quite a few years so it was exciting to just watch them play a post season game. The day was about as perfect as football watching can get, but got a little sweeter when the Broncos won the game in the first play of overtime. R and Uncle C celebrated by leaping, jumping and high-fiving quietly; thankfully not yelling since PJ was in the other room napping. It was a great afternoon with great company. A nice little Sunday.
